Chinese franchised hotel chain Hanting has increased its expansion throughout China.

Cheng Jun, vice president of Hanting Hotel, has told local media that the company would increase their hotels in Beijing from 3 to 10 and add the total number of hotels across China to 100 by the end of this year.

Cheng said though there are already 3981 hotels in Beijing, this is far from meeting the demand during the Olympic Games.

In July, Hanting Hotel received US$85 million venture capital from five investors of CDH Venture Partners, Chengwei Ventures and others. The hotel said that they would use all the money for opening new hotels across the country.
