Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel, Xi'an has welcomed Leslie Wang as the hotel's new executive assistant manager.

Wang joins the hotel with more than 15 years' extensive experience of hotel management. He joined the Shangri-La Hotel and Resorts group in 1992 and has worked at Shangri-La Hotel, Shenzhen; Shangri-La Hotel, Wuhan; The Kerry Centre Hotel, Beijing; and Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin. He was also on hand to assist with the pre-opening of the Shangri-La Academy, Beijing.

In 2002 he was promoted to become a CET (corporate executive trainee) and entered the elite hotel executive management development program. Wang was most recently finance controller of Shangri-La Hotel, Harbin.
