Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing has bolstered its operations in China's capital city with new appointments.
The hotel has promoted Christine Lin to the position of executive assistant manager in charge of the rooms division. Lin joined the hotel as Crowne Meetings director in September 2005 and was later promoted to the position of director of rooms division, where she contributed significantly to improve the front office and housekeeping operations. She has over 20 years experience in the hotel industry and has been with the IHG group since 1995. In her new role, she will continue to lead the room's division team and also take on an expanded role to improve guest services within other areas in the hotel.
Crowne Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing has also announced the appointment of Edith Kwok as director of quality and continuous improvement. She is a graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a bachelor's degree in hotel and catering management. She also graduated with a professional diploma in quality management from Hong Kong Baptist University. She has been with IHG for more than 5 years. Prior to her arrival in Beijing, Kwok was the quality and training manager in Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong. She is very experienced at driving and monitoring the effectiveness of IHG's quality improvement programs. In this role, she will drive continuous improvement for the hotel through quality and training programs.
