Shangri-La Hotel, Huhhot has made two top appointments for its facilities in China's northeast.

Gary Biondo has been appointed general manager of the hotel. Biondo, from the United States, has worked more than 16 years for Shangri-La Hotel & Resorts Group. He started his hospitality career with the Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing and then worked in Beihai, Dalian, Fiji, and Shenyang. Prior to taking the helm of Shangri-La Hotel, Huhhot, he was the general manager of Traders Hotel Shenyang.

Roc Huang has been appointed resident manager of the hotel. Huang, a Beijing resident, has rich experience in hotel management, having previously worked as director of sales and marketing of Shangri-La's properties in Changchun, Xi'an and Qingdao.
