Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa has made two new executive appointments.

Jana Tan has been appointed director of event management of Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa. She will oversee the hotel's meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition groups. Tan has been working in the hotel industry of Hainan for over 10 years. Prior to joining Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa, she was the director of sales and director of events in Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Leslie Guo was recently appointed director of sales at the resort. With over 10 years of international hotel experience, Guo comes with an impressive wealth of knowledge in sales and marketing. In 1997, she was a member of Courtyard Shenyang and then was a part of the pre-opening team of Shenyang Marriott, where she worked for six years. Prior to joining Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa, she was assistant director of sales at Crown Plaza Sanya.
