Bernhard Reineke has been appointed the new executive chef at Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao.

Throughout his almost 30-year career, Reineke has worked in many prestigious five-star hotels around the world. He joined Marriott International in 1983 and quickly won recognition for his culinary achievement, receiving the 1985 Gold Medal in "Salon Culinaire". Among his many experiences are joining the pre-opening taskforce for JW Marriott Hotel in Seoul, Korea and serving as executive chef for the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Hong Kong. He brings with him refreshing tastes and refined international cuisine to the kitchens of Shanghai Marriott Hotel Hongqiao.
