Kjell Rognoy is the newly appointed as general manager of The Regent Shanghai.

Rognoy, who is Norwegian by birth, has extensive experience in the hospitality industry spanning 27 years and has worked in destinations such as Europe, the Middle East, various parts of Asia, and the USA. During Rognoy's career, he has worked with groups such as Starwood, Marriott and Mandarin Oriental.
