Air New Zealand will recruit Chinese flight attendants to serve the Auckland to Shanghai line.

A representative from Air New Zealand says that the number of Chinese attendants to be employed and the qualifications they must have are still being discussed.

In related news, inorder to lower operation costs, Air New Zealand is making a large scale staff reduction and has already dismissed 440 staff.
