Lufthansa Airlines and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts jointly announced that Chef Ye Wen Chian of Pudong Shangri-La will be the first Star Chef to create a Chinese-inspired menu for Lufthansa’s flights to and from China. As part of the airline’s award-winning Connoisseurs on Board food and wine programme, Chef Ye's menus will be served onboard all 52 Lufthansa flights per week between Germany and China for one year, beginning May 1, 2006.
