Shangri-La's Kerry Centre Hotel in Beijing has appointed Sigi Bierbaumer as Resident Manager.

An Austrian national, Bierbaumer posseses a solid background in food and beverage and hotel management.

With over 25 years of hospitality experience, he spent his last 14 years with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts.

Bierbaumer joined the group in 1992 as Executive Chef, and then rose to Director of Food and Beverage for Shangri-La in Bangkok and Manila. Prior to coming to Beijing, Bierbaumer was Resident Manager at Makati Shangri-La in the Philippines.
