After nine months of refurbishment, Raffles Beijing Hotel has announced its reopening in Beijing.
Representatives from the Beijing Tourism Group, Colony Capital and Raffles Hotels and Resorts were on hand last week for the reopening. In a few months, Raffles Beijing Hotel will start taking guests.
Established in the early 1900s, the hotel has been a social destination for Chinese and foreign dignitaries since its earliest heydays almost a century ago.
Among the jewels in its crown are 171 lavishly appointed guestrooms and suites. Four distinctive restaurants and bars with a myriad of dining concepts cater to every culinary preference.
Peter Wynne, General Manager of Raffles Beijing Hotel said, "Few hotels can look back on a century of fabled memoirs. We are most excited to have opened the doors of this heritage landmark to a new century of hospitality at Raffles Beijing Hotel, bringing together two powerful distinctions in the hospitality arena, the Raffles brand in the poetic splendour of Beijing."
