Huangshan Scenic Spot Administrative Department has disclosed to local media they are doing some renovations on the toilets at the scenic spots in order to make them reach a 3-star level.

By September this year, all of the toilets will be at the 3-star level and will have better facilities for handicapped travelers.

At present, there are 28 toilets at the scenic spot. After the reconstruction, the new toilets will feature hot water, automatic flushing and safety armrests. They will also incorporate background music and small trees into the facilities to create a better atmosphere.

All of the toilets will offer free bag storage services, and some of them will offer shower rooms.

The toilets at the 3 main entrances will be fixed with special screens so that tourists can watch films and receive travel information in Huangshan.
