YHA China has been accepted as a formal member of IYHF at the 46th International Youth Hostel Federation Conference.

This means Chinese citizens will be able to book youth hostels online and IYHF will issue their member cards in China.

Chinese citizens can complete the application form online or at any Youth Hostel. The card holder will be eligible to enjoy the special offer provided at those overseas Youth Hostels.

Liu Zhaoxiang, a consultant from the International Consultant of YHA China, said that there are 80-90 Youth Hostels in China at present, and six of them are in Shanghai. Currently during this busy summer holiday period, the occupancy rates at Youth Hostels in Shanghai have reached 90%.
