Sichuan Airlines has launched a business line from Chongqing to Lhasa that offers one more choice for passengers who will visit Tibet.

Tibet-bound travel has brought great expansion for China's passenger transportation market, and has led some airline companies to compete for more market share.

Sichuan Airlines says that it will take 47 hours for Chongqing citizens to go to Tibet by train, and it is also hard for them to get a train ticket. So the new line will satisfy the passengers' demand for reaching Tibet within a short time.

There will be one flight per day on this line, and it may be expanded in the future based on demand.
