Macau Star World Hotel, a flagship project of the Galaxy Entertainment Group, will be opened during September.

Upon opening, the hotel will add 290 gambling tables and more than 500 deluxe hotel rooms and suites to Macau's gambling industry.

Macau Star World Hotel is located at the center of Avenida de Amizade. The 38-storey building, the tallest building in Macao, occupies 1.29 million square feet, including a 140,000 square feet space which is home to 290 tables and 300 slot machines as well as other gambling facilities.

Wen Ziying, senior manager of Galaxy Entertainment Group, says that the company thinks highly of the mainland's travel market and hopes to attract more tourists from the mainland.
