Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has appointed George Yang, a native of Beijing, to lead the team at The Kerry Centre Hotel.

Yang brings to The Kerry Centre Hotel his extensive experience in hotel operations and marketing. Having spent 20 years from 1986 with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, he held various management positions at Shangri-La Hotel Beijing, Shangri-La Hotel Changchun and Shangri-La Hotel Qingdao. Prior to his appointment, Yang was the General Manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Wuhan.

Yang earned his MBA degree at University of South Australia and a post graduate's degree in World Economics at Northeast Normal University, China.
