Scheduled to open on September 15, the new Marco Polo Shenzhen Hotel is located in the heart of the new Futian Central Business District.

General Manager Henk Meyknecht is leading the executive team that will oversee the hotel's 391 guest rooms and suites. Each are equipped with broadband Internet access, luxurious bathrooms, in-room safes, state-of-the-art communications and entertainment facilities. Marco Polo's signature Continental Club is also situated on the 35th -41st floors.

Marco Polo Shenzhen is opening with six restaurants and a bar, while the Marco Polo Ballroom and 30 multi-function rooms, including one auditorium, can accommodate up to 3,000 people and provide ideal venues for meetings, seminars and social events. The Chinese restaurant has a seating capacity for 600 guests. All meeting rooms feature state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and wireless broadband Internet access.

Recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, health amd fitness center and the internationally renowned Mandara Spa.
