Marco Polo Hotels has announced the appointment of Malcolm McLauchlan as General Manager of the Marco Polo Parkside Hotel in North Beijing.

Raised in New Zealand and Hong Kong and a graduate of the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausaane in Switzerland, McLauchlan joins Marco Polo Hotels with a long history of Asian hotel assignments including luxury properties in Manila, Macau, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Guangzhou with such organizations as Hyatt International, New World Hotels and Stamford Hotels.

The Marco Polo Parkside Hotel will open soon.
