Rick Berendsen is the new Hotel Manager for The Westin Beijing, Financial Street.

Previous to this appointment, Berendsen was the Deputy General Manager for The Sandton Towers InterContinental Hotel, South Africa. A native of The Netherlands, Berendsen started his hotel career in 1988, and gained rich experience through a variety of senior management positions with several leading hotel chains in South Africa, Britain, China and Fiji.

Berendsen will report to Charlie Dang, General Manager of the Hotel, together with the executive team to create a unique renewal experience for travelers and residences in Beijing.
