Sichuan Royalton International Hotel and Tour Management Academy has signed a cooperation agreement with CHN University Netherlands to set up a hotel management training center in China.

A representative from Royalton tells local media that this cooperation is one of the main bidding projects to draw investment for Sichuan Province. The whole investment for this project is around RMB850 million.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office in China will provide technical support and Netherland CHN University will provide teaching resources to make it one of the main training organizations in China. Royalton will be responsible for providing capital, layout and construction while Sichuan's Dujiangyan Municipal Government will provide local resources.

The project is aiming at enhancing the management level of China's hotel industry through international cooperation, to train hotel managing people who are familiar with both international standards and the situation in China.

Royalton is a French-owned firm whose China investments include Royalton Hotel Shanghai.
