In preparation for its December re-opening after extensive renovation, The Beijing Oriental Culture Hotel has made two new appointments to its executive staff.

Zhang Qi has been appointed as general manager of Beijing Oriental Culture Hotel. With more than 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry, Zhang has taken senior management positions at different hotels including Wangfujing Grand Hotel and Celebrity International Grand Hotel, responsible for the front-line operation of the hotels. In her career, she has been awarded a number of honorary titles such as National Excellent Enterpriser granted by China Hotel Association, Woman Pace-setter by Beijing Dongcheng Government and Excellent Party Member by Beijing Dongcheng State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

Han Zhiguo has been appointed to the position of Resident Manager at Beijing Oriental Culture Hotel. Having graduated from Beijing Second Foreign Language Institute, Han has worked in the hotel industry for more than 20 years and abundant experience in international hotel management and operation. He worked as a senior manager at Shangri-la Hotels and Resorts and InterContinental Hotels Group. Before joining Beijing Oriental Culture Hotel, he worked as a senior manager for the pre-opening of a number of 4 and 5-star hotels in Shenyang, Chengdu, Jiangsu and Beijing.
