News from Mentougou International Economic Trade Conference 2006 is that a West Beijing Convention Centre, including an exhibition center, an international conference hotel and holiday resort will be constructed in Mengtougou District's Yongding Town.

The project will be started next year. Occupying 300 mu, the International Conference Resort will offer facilities encompassing 191 presidential suites and 200 deluxe rooms to meet the demands of large international meetings and conventions.

Upon completion, the resort will have the most presidential suites in Beijing. At present, the prophase layout of the project has been completed and it is waiting for the final approval from the local licensing authority.
