Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing has announced new executive staff appointments for its team.

Francois Vanvi is the new Director of Sales and Marketing. Before rejoining Marco Polo Hotels, Vanvi worked briefly as General Manager of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel at Kau U Fong and Central Park Hotel. Prior to that, he was Director of Sales & Marketing of the three Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong: Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway and Prince. Vanvi has over 2 decades of hospitality industry experience.

Tony Fong has been appointed Financial Controller. Before joining the Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing, he was the Deputy General Manager of the Garden Hotel Guangzhou. Fong has 27 years of work experience in the hotel field. He has worked previously with The Shangri-La Hotels Group, The Marco Polo Hotels Group and The Mandarin Oriental Hotels Group.

Jackson Zhou is the hotel's new F&B Director. In-charge of the property's dining operations, Zhou has brought with him seven years of F&B management experience with hotel brands such as Marriott and Accor.

A home-grown Front Office Manager with a passion for service excellence and a zest for continuous improvement, Swing Lee started his career with the hotel group in 1983. Throughout his 20 years of experience, he has embraced the Marco Polo culture and cultivated good teamwork.

Hunter Wang has been appointed Human Resources Director. He joined the property in May 2006, after having worked at its sister hotel, Marco Polo Xidan. Wang gained extensive experience working in the Human Resources field with several hotel groups, such as Shangri-La and Kempinski.

Bernhard Reineke is the new Executive Chef at the hotel. Reineke has abundant experience in the culinary and gourmet industry. Prior to this appointment, Reineke worked for many international hotels in Hong Kong, Indonesia and England.

Jackie Sit is the new Executive Housekeeper at the hotel. Sit has brought with her many years of working experience in various hotelss housekeeping areas. Prior to Marco Polo Parkside Beijing, she held the same position at Langham Group's Eaton Hotel.

Sun Zhizhong has been appointed Engineering Manager at the hotel. Sun brings more than 17 years of experience in hotel engineering. Prior to The Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing, he held the same position at the Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven in Beijing.

The hotel's newly appointed Public Relations Manager is Alessia Hsu. Hsu brings more than ten years of luxury hospitality experience, strong professional skills and media connections to The Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing. Prior to this position, she held the same position for more than 2 years at Holiday Inn Downtown Beijing.
