After one year's trial operation and with the completion of the second phase of construction, Fisherman's Wharf in Macao has now formally opened its doors to the public.

Macau Fisherman's Wharf, which was co-developed by renowned businessmen, Dr. Stanley Ho and David Chow, has received 10 million tourists in the past year and it is expected to attract 20 million visitors each year after this formal opening.

Macau Fisherman's Wharf is the first themed entertainment attraction in the tourism industry of Macau, occupying an area of over 111,500 sqm and combining entertainment, retail, food, hotel, marina, convention and exhibition facilities in one place.

The first phase of the project was put into trial operation on December 31, 2005. The total investment for Macau Fisherman's Wharf exceeds MOP2.6 billion.
