Eugene HendriksEugene Hendriks has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing of Sheraton Donguan Hotel. In Hendriks' new role, he will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities. Having graduated from Swiss Hotel Management School "Les Rosches", Hendriks has been in the hospitality industry for the past 21 years, in which 11 years has been with Starwood properties in Australia, Langkawi, Phuket and Penang.

Sally HanThe hotel has named Sally Han Financial Controller. With more than 11 years' working experience in financial positions in hotels, Han has an overall responsibility for the hotel's financial management. Han has worked in the hotel industry since 1995 when she joined Holiday Inn Harbin as Chief Accountant. She has also worked at Shangri-La Harbin, Radisson Xingguo Shanghai and Shangri-La Shenzhen.

Jacy LeongJacy Leong is the new Director of Food and Beverage. Leong has almost 10 years' F&B working experience in 5-star hotels, Previously, he was working in Shangri-La Xian as the F&B Manager for five years. His first hotel position was in the Hyatt Regency in 1981, and after working there for about 12 years he developed his career in Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, as the Assistant F&B Manager.

Gracia ShiGracia Shi has joined Sheraton Dongguan Hotel as Director of Human Resources. She completed her Bachelors Degree of Law and Bachelor Degree of Economics in Wuhan University in 1995. Before joining Sheraton Dongguan Hotel, Shi already had 11 years' experiences in Human Resources management in Shangri-la Hotels Group and InterContinental Hotels Group.

Mary MaMary Ma is the hotel's new Marketing Communications Manager. In 2004, after completing her MBA program at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, she started her career in the hospitality industry. Ma's last position was Sales and Marketing Systems Assistant Manager in the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Bangkok. Recently she was promoted by Starwood and transferred back to China, beginning her new career steps in the marketing communication field.

Charlie ChewCharlie Chew is the new Executive Chef at Sheraton Dongguan. Prior to this post, he was the Executive Chef of Shangri-La Hotel Wuhan. Chew started his culinary career in 1980 and became the Executive Chef of Brunswick Merchant City Hotel in Scotland in 1995. With good working experience in prestigious hotels around the world, Chew is now in charge of all the kitchen brigades and food operation matters.

Lawrence LiLawrence Li has been promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Events. Promoted from his previous position as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Li will now assist with events and functions promotion and execution. Graduating from hotel management school in Switzerland, Li has previously worked for Best Western Premier Xiamen Central Hotel, Sheraton Sanya Resort and Tianjing D.D. Central Hotel

John ChenSheraton Dongguan Hotel has appointed John Chen as Executive Housekeeper. Chen started working in the hotel industry in 1988 when he joined Xi'an Swiss-Well Jian Guo Hotel as a Floor Supervisor. Working also for Xi'an Sheraton Hotel and Xi'an Howard Johnson Plaza and Xi'an Nan Yang Hotel, Chen has been an Executive Housekeeper for ten years.
