In the past 2 years, the number of available hotel rooms in Hong Kong have been shrinking. But now with the opening of Disneyland, more hotels have to be built to meet the increasing amount of tourists to the area.
According to the Hong Kong Travel Development Bureau, 35 more hotels will be built in Hong Kong in the coming 4 years, and most of them will be moderately-priced ones.
In 2005, the hotel number in Hong Kong will exceed 100, providing a total of more than 48,000 rooms.
