Emperor Entertainment Hotel Limited (EEH) has announced that its majority shareholder, Emperor International Holdings Limited (EIH) has completed the acquisition of 11.24% shares in EEH at HK$1.58 per share which is equal to the closing price of the shares on 15 Feb 2005, the date of agreement of the acquisition.
EIH has also since March 2005 acquired 1,300,000 shares of EEH from the market at an average price of HK$1.80 per share.
EEH is an investment holding company with its subsidiaries principally engaged in gaming business, and property development and investment in China. Recently, the company established a joint venture with SJM to develop a luxurious casino hotel with total investment amounted HK$1.2 billion in Macau which is going to be opened in September 2005.
