Continental Airlines today announced a low introductory fare from just $888 round trip for its new nonstop flights to Beijing from its New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport, scheduled to begin June 15, 2005.

Fares to Beijing from Continental's Houston hub at Bush Intercontinental or its Cleveland hub at Cleveland Hopkins International are $938 round trip.

Continental will be the only U.S. carrier offering daily nonstop service from New York to the People's Republic of China. The Boeing 777 flight will depart Liberty at noon, arriving in Beijing at 1:50 p.m. the next day. The return flight will leave Beijing at 3:50 p.m., arriving in the United States 13 hours and 25 minutes later at 5:15 p.m.
