Accor Group has signed a management contract with Zhejiang Wanda Group to build a new Sofitel Xanadu Resort Hotel in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou.

The new hotel is about 15km from the West Lake and 10km from Xiaoshan International Airport.

This will be the second five-star hotel for Sofitel in the Hangzhou area. It is scheduled to be open on December 3, 2005, providing a whole range of services including accommodation, leisure, entertainment and conference.

There will be 305 rooms and two restaurants, each with a seating capacity of 1000 people.
