Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing has recently appointed Bernhard Wimmer as the new Resident Manager.

In his new role, Bernhard Wimmer is responsible for overseeing the hotel's operations. Wimmer has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having recently worked with Shangri-La Hotel, Makati as Executive Assistant Manager, Rooms Division for the past 19 months.  Prior to that, he spent 9 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and Kempinski Group of Hotels in Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle East.

George Wee, the hotel's General Manager commented, We are delighted to have Bernhard joined the hotel and to strengthen the Hotel's management team.  His new role will also be to align the organization with the exciting hotel development.
