Grenada has become the newest approved destination for Chinese tourists, according to the China National Tourism Bureau.

Experts said this is the first step for the two nations to enhance tourism cooperation, in order to increase mutual understanding. However, Chinese citizens can only organize groups after two nations discussed more detailed issues such as visa procedure.

Lying in the Caribbean Sea, Grenada is 344 square kilometers with a population of 100,000. Tourism is a pillar industry for the nation.
