Starwood's Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen will be the official hotel for Volvo China Open 2005. The 11th Volvo China Open will be held in the Shenzhen Golf Club from November 21 to November 28, 2005.
The past few games have attracted many golfers from around the world, and this year Volvo hopes to attract even more local and international players on the battlefield as the prize money goes up from US$1 million to US$1.3 million.
The event was first begun in 1995 when Volvo and the China Golf Association saw the potential to develop golf as a professional game in China. This paved the way for many local talented golfers to earn their reputation on an international level.
Four Points by Sheraton is a new hotel brand to debut in China. With its strategic location in the Shenzhen Futian Free Trade Zone, it is only 5 minutes away from the 24 hour Huanggang border crossing to Hong Kong, and 20 minutes away from the Shenzhen International Airport.
We're thrilled to be in the partnership with Volvo this year and we are confident that everyone will have a most pleasant stay in our new property. We wish Volvo China Open a great success in Shenzhen said Colin R. Vickers, Director of Rooms from Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhen.
