One of China's newest budget airlines, Spring Airlines, has cancelled its RMB199 and RMB299 business package tickets.

Instead of the low fares, Spring Airlines plans to now offer tickets with higher prices, but include complimentary gifts. For example, a ticket on a flight from Shanghai to Mianyang includes a complimentary RMB50 ticket for visiting Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower or a single trip by maglev train.

The tickets for Nanchang are being packaged with a bottle of red wine. The lowest prices for trips to Yantai is between RMB270-350, 70rmb higher than the previously priced RMB199.

In the past, Spring Airlines also offered business packages of airfare and hotel rooms bundled together. A spokesperson for Spring Airlines has told local media that these packages now will also be canceled because hotel rooms in many cities are at capacity. These hotel packages may be reinstituted in the future.
