According to Beijing Beiqing Motorized Cleaning Group Company, about 27 tons of rubbish was collected from Tiananmen Square every day during the National Day Holiday.

This was the highest level recorded in the past five years.

BeiQing is responsible for cleaning Tiananmen Square, and they used 38 trucks to daily assist in the cleaning process.

The 8 mobile toilet areas in Tiananmen Square were quite crowded as well. Beiqing says more than 400,000 people hustled into the toilets during the week-long holiday.
