Budget hotel City Inn has accelerated its expansion in Shenzhen by launching two new chain hotels in the city.

The two new hotels are located, respectively, at Shenzhen's Window of the World and the Shenzhen Happy Kingdom.

Owned by Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town (OCT Group) International Hotels Management Company, City Inn has been positioned as budget hotel that only offer beds and breakfast. The first City Inn was opened in May of 2004 and achieves a normal occupancy rate of as high as 93%.

City Inn plans to launch 8-9 hotels in Shenzhen in the next five years, then expand to big cities like Beijing and Shanghai.
