2004 Miss World, Maria Julia Mantilla, visited Suzhou Sheraton Hotel and Towers this week.

Maria Julia Mantilla accompanied by Steven Morley from the Miss World organization took time out of their busy schedule to visit Suzhou.

We are delighted and honoured to welcome the reigning Miss World to our city, said Daniel Aylmer, the General Manager of Sheraton Suzhou Hotel and Towers. We are aware of the tremendous charitable contributions Miss World and the Miss World organisation has made to China in the past several years and it is a privilege to express our appreciations on behalf of Suzhou city.

The 55th Miss World final is to be held in Sanya later this year and is planned to be one of the largest events yet.

Miss World 2004 has currently raised over US$10,000,000 for charitable organizations this year.
