Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has launched online booking on the Chinese section of its shangri-la.com website.

Any guest making reservations on the Shangri-La Chinese website for any Shangri-La or Traders hotel in mainland China, excluding Beijing and Shanghai properties, does not need to provide a credit card guarantee.

To celebrate the new service debut, the group is offering one million air miles as a lucky draw prize. Any guest who books on the Chinese website and checks-in at any Shangri-La or Traders hotel between December 1, 2005 and February 28, 2006 is eligible.

In addition, members of frequent flyer programmes of Air China, China Southern Airlines, and China Eastern Airlines booking online at the Shangri-La's Chinese website can earn double mileage during the three-month promotional period.
