A new five-star hotel will soon appear atop a 70-storey building at the side of the Qiantang Jiang River in Hangzhou, offering a spectacular view of the sea and metropolitan Hangzhou.

The hotel will be the the highest in Zhejiang Province and is invested in by New Century Real Estate and located within the New Century Zhijiang Resort area.

The  building's design is similar to that of Grand Hyatt Shanghai. It will use the 40th floor as a dividing line: those above the 40th floor will be designed as hotel rooms; below that floor will be serviced apartment.

Construction will begin at the end of next year.
