Royal Plaza Hotel in Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Peter H. Y. Wong as General Manager to oversee the development, operations and management of the hotel.

With over 20 years of operations and management experience gained from world prestigious hotel companies, namely The Mandarin Oriental, the Peninsula, and the Ritz-Carlton, Wong has rejoined the Sun Hung Kai Group as General Manager of Royal Plaza Hotel, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Wong will bring the benefit of his well-rounded experience in business development, operations and marketing for an all-win result, whereby company growth and customer satisfaction can be realized.

His extensive and hands-on experience will contribute to achieve prescribed company financial and operational goals, while maintaining a positive and productive working atmosphere to provide a bright future for the hotel.

Most recently, Wong served as Vice President of the Mission Hills Group before joining Royal Plaza Hotel.

Amongst his many credentials, such as graduation from renowned hotel schools in Switzerland and Austria, Wong is also a member of a number of professional organizations of various disciplines which includes the Hotel, Catering and International Management Association, UK and Chartered Management Institute, UK.
