Shanghai Tennis Masters Cup 2005 winner David Nalbandian was greeted by Hilton Shanghai Director of Operations Luc Bollen.

Playing as an alternate for injury–riddled world no. 3 Andy Roddick, the 23-year old from Argentina pulled off a surprise win over 2002 and 2004 Tennis Masters Cup winner, Roger Federer in the final game of the Shanghai Tennis Masters Cup 2005 on November 20. It was one of the year's most thrilling matches on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour.

Hilton Shanghai was the Official Hotel for the week-long international sports event and extended accommodation to all Players, ATP Officials, ATP Tennis Family and Sponsors.  Hilton also provided the catering to all Corporate Hospitality Suites at the Shanghai Qi Zhong Tennis Center.
