As one of the most renowned institutions of high learning in China, Peking University attracts a lot of tourists every day, drawn to its cultural atmosphere.

From October 4th, however, the University was closed to tourists for the safety of teachers and students. Visitors can now only come in when accompanied by friends living on-campus.
