Russell George Ward Birch has been appointed general manager of the Holiday Inn Central Plaza Beijing.

Birch has more than 20 years of management experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Geneva and most recently in Hong Kong for the Holiday Inn Golden Mile.
