Accor Asia Pacific announced the appointment of Rod Munro as general manager of Novotel Citygate Hong Kong.

Munro joined Accor in Australia commencing with the former Grand Mercure Bowral Heritage Park. This was followed by other operations roles in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand including an assignment working with Accor's Sydney Olympic Park hotels. He then relocated to Hong Kong in 2005 as general manager of Headland Hotel Hong Kong at Chek Lap Kok International Airport.
