2011年5月16日至20日，三亚万丽度假酒店为感谢各位员工从酒店筹备、开业至今的辛勤劳动和努力付出，策划并安排了丰富有趣的员工活动，以提高员工的工作乐趣与归属感。在此期间，逾百名员工还积极参与到自愿献血活动中，总献血量共计12600ml。

三亚万豪度假酒店服务社区、答谢员工

近日，在万豪国际集团酒店一年一度的员工答谢周中，三亚万豪度假酒店把对员工的关爱文化延伸到了所在的社区。与全球3600家万豪酒店同步，在各个酒店所在的城市开展关爱社区、帮扶弱势的服务活动。5月23日，三亚万豪度假酒店购置了3万余元的生活用品，捐赠给三亚市光明连接脑残儿童中心。为了让所捐物资能实实在在地帮助和改善这些孩子们的生活，酒店按照该中心提供的所需清单购置了这批物资，比如：尿布、日用品和消暑食品等。5月24日，三亚万豪度假酒店将价值1万余元的生活和学习用品送至三亚百年职校，该校为全免费公益职业学校，目的是为了帮助海南省当地家庭贫困的年轻人继续接受良好的职业教育，学习岗位技能，实现就业工作，使家庭生活状况得到改善。

海航与重庆市合建西部航空

海航集团西南总部与重庆渝富资产经营管理有限公司签署出资协议，共同出资30亿元组建重庆西部航空控股有限公司。这家新成立的公司，之后将以现金形式对海航此前在重庆成立的西部航空进行增资扩股。
