China's Airlines Raise Fuel Surcharges

According to reports in local media, Chinese airlines are raising passenger fuel surcharges as of Tuesday February 22, 2011 — due to the rise in base fuel prices.

KLM To Launch Amsterdam-Xiamen Route

On March 27, 2011 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will begin operating a scheduled service to Xiamen International Airport — making it the first airline to offer direct flights between Xiamen and Europe.

Urumqi-Dushanbe Route Returns To Normal

Starting from October 31, 2009, the Urumqi-Dushanbe round-trip flight operated by China Southern Airlines will cease to be a charter flight and will return to being a normal scheduled flight.
