United Airlines Flies Inaugural Group Of Chinese Leisure Travelers To United States

United Airlines flew the inaugural groups participating in the Approved Destination Status program from China to the United States. United facilitated flight arrangements for groups departing from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to the U.S. after the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding to open up the group leisure travel market last year.

Chinese Mainland Tour Groups To Visit Taiwan From Next Month

Chen Yunlin, chairman of the Chinese Mainland's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits, and Chiang Pin-kun, chairman of the Taiwan-based Straits Exchange Foundation, signed agreements on cross-strait weekend charter flights and mainland tourists' traveling to Taiwan.
