Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels has returned to its Shanghai roots after an absence of 60 years with the recent opening of The Peninsula Shanghai, in the city where it once operated four of the city's premier hotels: The Kalee, Majestic, Palace, and Astor House.

Taiwan Achieved TWD850 Million From Mainland Tourists During Spring Festival

An official from Taiwan's tourism department has disclosed to local media that a total of 509 tourist groups with a total of about 13,400 tourists from the Chinese mainland visited Taiwan during the seven-day Chinese New Year and this brought the Island about TWD850 million in tourism revenue.
