Saudi Arabian Airlines Flies To Guangzhou
Saudi Arabian Airlines, the kingdom's national carrier, has inaugurated its first flight to the Chinese city of Guangzhou.
Hong Kong Airlines To Increase Surcharges From August 1
Nine Hong Kong airlines including Cathay Pacific Airways have approval for additional surcharges from August 1 this year, and another 35 airlines in the region have also obtained the approval from the Civil Aviation Department Hong Kong to extend or add the surcharges.
Oil Woes: Thirteen Hong Kong Airlines Increase Surcharge
Due to continuously rising oil prices, the Civil Aviation Department of Hong Kong has given formal approval to 13 airlines to maintain or increase surcharges on passenger transportation from June 1, 2008.
