Taiwan's Mainland Arrivals Hit 1.09 Million

The number of mainland visitors traveling to Taiwan reached 1.09 million as of December 3,2010 and the total is expected to reach 1.2 million by the end of 2010 according to Yang Yi, a spokesman for the State Council's Taiwan Affairs Office.

Taiwan to Get 5.4 Million Tourists In 2010

According to the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the number of tourists visiting Taiwan is expected to reach a record 5.4 million this year, which represents an increase of one million from last year.
