{"id":18056,"date":"2010-10-21T05:30:32","date_gmt":"2010-10-20T21:30:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/en\/?p=18056"},"modified":"2010-10-21T05:30:32","modified_gmt":"2010-10-20T21:30:32","slug":"hong-kong-airport-passenger-volumes-up-16-9-in-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chinahospitalitynews.com\/cn\/2010\/10\/21\/18056\/","title":{"rendered":"Hong Kong Airport Passenger Volumes Up 16.9% In September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Hong Kong's Airport Authority, passenger volumes at Hong Kong International Airport surged 16.9% year on year to 4.1 million and cargo volume went up 13.9% to 346,000 tons.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Airport Authority said in a statement that aircraft movements also recorded a double-digit increase of 15.9% from a year earlier to 26,140 last month.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, all key regions registered year-on-year growth, with the Chinese Mainland and South East Asia remaining the best performers.<\/p>\n<p>For the first nine months of 2010, the airport's passenger volume amounted to 38 million, up 10.9% compared to the same period last year.
